Hello, my windows media player isn't adding any music to my music library, not even the vista samples... What can I do, is there a way to repair or reinstall the player?
Thanks

You may have to wait for a new build: this problem exists for many people on both Vista and XP platforms with v11.
but is it my computer or is it just the installation of vista? If it's only the installation, I'll reinstall vista tonight. On XP windows media player 11 beta works fine, same for my laptop with vista and windows media player 11

I don't know know how well the underlying problem is understood to make a comment. The problem has been reported frequently, but no suggestions have come from Microsoft ..
This should be a byproduct of a file corruption on your system. Does resetting the Media Library fix you up: http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary ?

I'm sorry for posting 3 times, I had troubles sending it...
There is an option in Media Player to "Add to Library". My installation did find the sample music but my collection was on another drive. After using this option it loaded all of my music to the library. Put your cursor over the Library button and then click on the small down arrow underneath the Library button, then click on "Add to Library" and window will pop up and select the drive that has your music collection on it.
